Consulting Services

Noah’s Ark provides special needs consultancy services to schools (special and mainstream), playgroups, therapy groups, organisations supporting children and young people with disabilities, community groups, toy libraries and any other interested groups.

Our Occupational Therapist, Shirley McInnes, who has worked in paediatric settings for over 40 years, coordinates our consulting services team.  The team comprises qualified and experienced practitioners who contribute to Noah’s Ark’s various projects and are available to facilitate special needs workshops or consultations.

Professionals involved in the delivery of these services include:  Marie Yuncken, Val McKelvey, Linda Oborne, Stacey Palmer, Sue Gawned, Mary Lee, Suzanne Wilkinson, Sue McCabe, Judy Walsh and Shirley McInnes.

Special needs workshops are offered on the following topics:

  • Playing with your child
  • Using Noah’s Ark StoryBags
  • Using Noah’s Ark Play Boxes
  • Ages and stages of development
  • School Age Therapy Resources (SATS)

Noah’s Ark’s special needs consultancy services are provided across Western Australia on a fee-for-service basis.
