Children's Week

To celebrate Children’s Week 2009, Meerlinga, the convenor of Children’s Week in WA, held a Family FunSafe Day at Whiteman Park on Sunday the 25th. It was a massive day with dozens of free activities and entertainment for children.
As part of our commitment to taking Noah’s Ark to the public, we ran a display at the Parent Expo, which involved over 25 community, government and not-for-profit groups that work with children and families.
Our Occupational Therapist, Shirley McInnes, demonstrated a range of our specialised developmental toys and activities and provided information on our services and programmes.
Meerlinga is all about promoting positive childhoods and the day definitely achieved that.
