Kites for Kids Day

19 October 2009

We recently joined Early Childhood Intervention Australia at its annual Kites for Kids Day on October 18 at Sir James Mitchell Park on the beautiful South Perth foreshore. The Day was part of the celebrations for Early Childhood Intervention Awareness Week.

This was a wonderful opportunity for Noah’s Ark to showcase what we do and how we can help parents, carers and teachers of children with special needs, and the children themselves.

Kids enjoyed learning how to make kites and then fly them. They tucked into the sausage sizzle and spent a lot of time at the ‘goop’ table (so did we!)

All Ford Day also made an appearance to support Noah’s Ark and displayed two of their very cool looking cars – a Ford Mustang and black Ford Falcon GT. These were certainly popular with the boys and the Dads!
